A: Mr. Ford's office. May I help you?
福特先生办公室.请问您有什么事?
B: Hello. This is Huang, and I have an appointment to see Mr. Ford at noon.
你好，我姓黄，我约好了中午要见福特先生。
A: Oh, yes, Mr.Huang. You sound very distressed. Something wrong?
哦.是的.黄先生。你似乎很苦恼。出了什么事吗?
B: Yes, I rented a car and started driving toward your company this moming,but somehow I ended up in the opposite side of the city. It's already 11: 45 and I don't think I can make it by noon.
是呀!我今天早上租了车子.往你们公司开.可是不知怎么搞的.我竟然开到城市相反的一边。现在已经11: 45了.我想我中午可能赶不上了。
A: Oh, that's too bad It'll take at least an hour to get back into town.
哦.那真糟糕。回到城里至少要一个小时。
B: Is it all right if l come in that late?
我那么晚到可以吗?
A: I'm afraid not, because Mr.Ford has another appointment at 13: 30.Mr.Huang,how about tomorrow afternoon?
恐怕不行.因为福特先生13: 30有另一个约会。黄先生.明天下午如何?
B: That's all right with me. I am terribly sorry and please give my apologies to Mr. Ford.
对我来说可以。我非常抱掀，请替我向福特先生道掀。
A: Sure, I will. Please drive carefully in a new town.
当然，我会的。在一个陌生的城市里驾驶请小心。
B: Thank you. Good-bye.
